General Discussion / Wildflowers at Mormon Rocks
« Last post by jyfcos2@gmail.com on May 20, 2018, 10:52:09 PM »
Hi Trekkers,

There is a SPECTACULAR wildflower bloom up at Mormon Rocks (the PCT, under the I-15 Fwy and west toward Wrightwood), alongside the trains coming through the Cajon Pass.  Think the latest wildfire (the Lake Fire) inspired ALL the flowers to bloom...riotously!

I plan to head up again on Tuesday am to get some pictures.  Anyone interested?

Here's a link to Saturday's hike:  https://saturdaytrekkers.wordpress.com/2018/05/20/mormon-rocks/
