The next Huell Howser trip is on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.
We are going to the famous flower fields of Carlsbad, just north of San Diego.
A quote from Google Map: “Seasonal attraction with almost 50 acres of ranunculus flowers, walking paths & plants for purchase.”.
The season starts in early March and ends in May; open daily from 9am to 6pm.
Address: 5708 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad.
Admission for us, seniors, is $14. If you want “Wagon Ride”, it’s $5 additional but must be booked in advance ( 714 431 0352  ext 118 ).

Meet at B of A at the corner of Foothill & Wheeler in La Verne ( #4 on the calendar ).
Thursday, April 26th at 8:30am to carpool, about 90 min drive.
Bring money to help driver with gas.
Bring water & snacks, hat & sunglasses, suntan.
There are tons of restaurants nearby and we shall decide !.
PF Chang, Corner Bakery, Ruby’s Diner, BJ Restaurant, Rubio Coastal Grill and many local ones.

Just a reminder:

This month's Huell Howser outing will move to March 29, Thursday at 10 am.

"Collegiate Aviation at Bracket," arranged by Sara Daum.  Meet 10 am at Collegiate Aviation, north side of the airport on Puddingstone Drive (l430 Puddingstone Drive.)

Tour will last an hour or so.  Lunch at Gene's Grinders afterwards. 

Beth Mika is leading this outing.  She would like a head count.  Please RSVP to Beth at 951/255-4780.

There are about 20 plus cottages and mine is behind the one you see in this video.
An islander caught the drone on landing. The drone does not record audio.
